Director of Technology
Mr. Sanderbeck has served as Director of Technology for BVIU for 15 years. A programmer for more than three decades, he manages and maintains the IU’s servers and its technological infrastructure, including wiring, data switching, firewalls, video conferencing systems, audio/visual equipment, security systems, camera system, smartboards, desktops, laptops, iPads and various other equipment.
Well-versed in learning and adapting quickly to changing environments, Mr. Sanderbeck provides servers for statewide initiatives and has experience programming in Visual Basic 6, C#, Ruby on Rails and other programming languages. He also develops multiple software applications which are used internally by the staff.
His decades of experience in technology has honed his ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, as well as a clear eye for technological security measures.
