Schools having students needing augmentative and alternative communication consultations will work with BVIU representatives from the training and consultation staff and the speech/language staff to determine what types of assistive technology may help the students best access the classroom instruction.
It is necessary to provide information prior to the consultation for augmentative and alternative communication. All required forms can be found here.
