Special Education Services

The Special Education Department’s programs and services are available to the 14 school districts, three charter schools and non-public schools within Beaver County. The department is also available to support students who are not part of the Beaver County catchment area when services are requested. These programs and services support districts in meeting the changing needs of their students with special needs. The special education staff includes special education program directors, supervisors, teachers, clinicians, paraprofessionals and others who provide educational services. The special education staff provide a wide array of specialized programs and services that are individually tailored to meet a child’s needs.
