The Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit provides direct auxiliary instructional support to students attending non-public schools in Beaver County.  Funds for these services are provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education through legislation known as Act 89.  These services assist non-public school faculty with appropriate strategies and adaptations for academically struggling students.

The non-public school program serves over 1,000 enrolled in Beaver County's non-public schools providing services such as remedial reading and math instruction, guidance counseling and speech therapy.  Our staff is comprised of 4 highly qualified teachers.  Please contact our office if you have questions regarding this program.
