Cost: No charge except for children who remain in early intervention as a 5-year-old eligible for Kindergarten

The purpose of the preschool early intervention program is to discover eligible young children, ages three through five, who have developmental delays and/or disabilities. The program provides in-depth evaluations to identify a child’s individual strengths and needs and provides appropriate early intervention services in the least restrictive environment. The early intervention services are provided in early childhood environments, homes and special education preschool classrooms depending on the child’s needs.
