Biography

Dr. Amy L. Hartle, Doctor of Audiology, BVIU Educational Audiologist

 

Dr. Hartle is a native of Beaver County.  She graduated from Beaver Area Jr/Sr High School with honorary academics in 1992.  Dr. Hartle is currently a proud resident of Beaver/Brighton Township.

 

Dr. Hartle earned the Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University in May of 1997 and a Masters Degree in Audiology, also from West Virginia, in May of 1999.  In November of 2009 she was proudly awarded a Doctorate Degree in Audiology from Salus University in Philadelphia.

 

In 2020, Dr. Hartle celebrated her 21st year as the Educational Audiologist for the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit and New Horizon School

 

Prior to New Horizon, she worked as a Clinical Audiologist for various Ear, Nose and Throat Doctors offices in Beaver and Allegheny County conducting hearing tests, hearing aid selection, fittings, verification and counseling, conducting dizziness testing and Auditory Brainstem Response testing, as well as aural rehabilitation.

 

Dr. Hartle is the acting Liaison for the Deaf-Blind Program as well as Volunteer Coordinator for Local Events of the Beaver County Special Olympics and she serves as the Beaver County Education Association Union President.
