2024 Needs Assessment Survey

Each year, the BVIU conducts a survey of the schools in Beaver County to assess the professional development needs of their staff members.  Intermediate Units across the state are required by The Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) to conduct a survey as part of their annual training plan.  Last year, 1,100 school employees responded to the online survey and helped the Intermediate Unit measure their needs to provide them with support and training.

The survey can be accessed from this direct link – Go To Survey Now, or from our website, www.bviu.org, in the Recent News section on the lower left side of the homepage.  Look for “2024 Needs Assessment Survey”. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. It is intended for all professional and paraprofessional staff in your district.  It is not meant for secretaries, business office staff, or substitutes to take the survey.  Please forward this email to the appropriate people on your staff.

The survey will only be available online from until April 5, 2024.  Results will be tabulated for each district and feedback will be given to district representatives in June.  The information obtained from this survey is ideal for planning your own professional development, completing special education plans, comprehensive plans, etc.

Thank you for your help as we strive to provide high-quality programs for Beaver County schools.  We truly appreciate you, and your staff, taking the time out of your busy day to provide us with this valuable information.
