The BVIU will be hosting Jason Russo on May 2 from 8:30 to 3:30 to facilitate a Holocaust session for Middle School and High School educators.

Mr. Jason Russo is a Rochester Teacher who also serves as an adjunct Professor for Seton Hill College will provide a free workshop for the basics of teaching the Holocaust. The workshop will show the basic topics, methods, and materials to bring this subject to the classroom. The workshop will also help identify and address current Anti-Semitism; much of it targeting students through social media and other outlets stemming from the recent October 7th attacks on Israel. This will be a great learning experience to help address issues your students may have.
