The Instruction & Technology Services Department supports you in all facets of current and emerging technologies through two specific components:

A core mission of the Intermediate Units in Pennsylvania is to provide constituent districts with access to cutting edge, timely instructional materials for use in the classroom. Through ITS, our department provides Beaver Valley schools with a wealth of resources to enhance instruction.
 
The Instructional Technology component of ITS focuses on helping educators incorporate and accelerate the use of technology to support student learning and achievement.  Technology is a tool to enhance learning, promote efficiency, and teach career and workplace skills that will be needed in the future.  We provide resources and training for teachers to integrate technology into their curriculum and teaching through professional development opportunities both in schools and on-site at BVIU.  Likewise, we facilitate county-wide advisory council meetings to provide support and collaboration for district technology coordinators, instructional coaches and online cyber coordinators.
 
The Technology Services department helps the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit make the best use of available computer technologies to support our educational mission.  A variety of products and services are offered to support computing at the IU and our partner districts.
