Dr. Lori Murtha - Supervisor of Early Intervention

Dr. Lori Murtha has been with the Early Intervention Program since 2009. Her credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Clarion University, a Master’s degree in Education from Slippery Rock University, and a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She holds certifications as a Supervisor of Special Education, Reading Specialist, and Teacher of the Mentally and/or Physically Handicapped.

Dr. Murtha has experience teaching elementary and middle-level learning support, coordinating Special Education, Gifted, and ESL programs, as well as experience in the supervision of Preschool Early Intervention, Audiology and Hearing Support, Vision Support, and Autistic Support programs. Dr. Murtha has presented many in-service programs and has taught at the post-secondary level.
