The BVIU Drug Prevention Grant Committee is offering a “Parent Night” to further educate our community on the impact of the opioid epidemic. The Parent Night will have specific information for parents and will include the Saltworks’ Off ‘Script production and a “Show & Tell” from the Beaver County Anti-Drug Task Force.
The event will be held at the Central Valley HS Auditorium on May 16, 2018. Registration & Refreshments will start at 5:30 PM. The program will run from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Following the April 25 Special Education Contact Meeting, all special education coordinators, special education teachers, and speech pathologists are invited to learn about the latest assistive software and devices available from Crick Software and Tobii Dynavox. Company representatives will spend an hour highlighting their latest writing and communication technologies. Join us from 10:30 - 1:00. Register here. BVIU is pleased to host 2 days of Wilson Fundations training. Cost will be shared among participating districts. Grades 2 & 3 teachers should attend Fundations Grade 2 on April 30, 2018. Grades K & 1 teachers should attend the Grade 1 session on May 1, 2018. Lunch is provided. There is a 10 person mimimum and a 30 person maximum for each day. See the flyer. Register here.
